Then followed by 10 years working in the oil and gas industry.
In 2014 Cherry moved to Port Alberni to call Vancouver Island home. Though he is lives in Port Alberni DIRT Island Excavation services clients from the West Coast to Nanaimo including Parksville, Qualicum, Lantzville, Port Alberni and surrounding areas. DIRT Island Excavation is currently running an E50 Bobcat Mini Excavator, a Bobcat S130 Skid Steer, a couple single axle (six yard) dump trucks, a triple axle dump trailer, and his favorite a Doosan 160 Excavator, along with a slew of attachments.
